Brazil are a striker short of bring the full team. If they had a fat Ronaldo( before he became fat) this team would be great.

Problem is they've struggled to en get it in to the striker. I don't think Jesus is a poor player, but he's hardly had a sniff today.

A shove is still a foul. Doesn't matter how little (and it wasn't little) it is.

Well, that's not true.

It's a contact sport, it always has been and hopefully always will be. Little shoves here and there are part of the game.

This particular one was probably 50/50 but I'm glad the goal stood. Fed up of fouls being given for every little bump and bit of contact.

Willian can walk again. It's a miracle! Praise the Lord.

...the ref not giving free kicks has this amazing ability to heal Brazilian footballers.

Why does every competitive match involving Brazil turn into a dive and whine competition?

If a striker went down under that most would be criticising him for looking for a penalty.
I wouldn't. You very rarely see defenders fully extended both arms and push someone, and when you do you usually get a penalty.

Much like Pepe v Costa, I think Jesus doesn't get that decision because he massively exaggerates his fall, even though a penalty could well have been given there.

And honestly, I think it's a good thing if VAR refs don't take action for that reason. Even if it's technically wrong.

If Neymar was as badly injured as his screams suggested every time he went down the guy would be confined to a wheelchair for life.

Literally acts like he's had a limb blown off by a land mine. Then gets up and runs off.

Never used to be like that. I always remmebr a little play acting, but generally Brazil were fairly physically robust and strong. Unless my memory is playing tricks.

What happened to Embolo? Don't think I've seen him play since the Euro's...
