What a miss - Jorgensen is even worse than Braithwaite. How is that even possible.
Wait until you get to Sunday and see Dier's hat-trick.

Are you on plus 1?
Deschamps doesn’t believe in proper full backs apparently. Same with the first game. Are Sidibe and Mendy injured?
Evra by chance?Get that bow tie off you clown
I don't see how that should've been a penalty at all. The whole point of the handball rule was to stop people picking up the ball and running off with it (I'm exaggerating here of course). If a handball is not deliberate it shouldn't be a handball by the letter of the law. The only grey area I think there is is when a player has his hands in an unnatural position and the ball hits them - were his hands there for him to move freely, or were they there to make it harder for the attacker to pass the ball around him. If the latter, then it can be considered deliberate and it's a pen. That's open to judgement though.
Thought Pavet looked a good footballer, but uncomfortable at right back which is a shame.Deschamps doesn’t believe in proper full backs apparently. Same with the first game.
Delaney I think.Did they just say Dortmund have paid 20m for Jorgensen? Who’s their new DOF Kevin Bond?

That would be the chap. I'm on fire ...Pavard? Yes, he is a quality....CB.
We’ve been linked with him IIRC.
But you're missing the point, it doesn't need to be deliberate to be given, there's countless examples out there and this is just one of them - hence the point about interpretation of the laws by the refs/FIFA which means that there's a legit grey area.
That example is definite pen btw in my eyes, I don't see how it can be argued differently, advantage has been taken away from the attacker, that's my point here it's all well and good shouting unintentional but if the advantage gets taken away from the attacker then it's unfair on them, you need to see it from both sides.
No black and white answer here and I can accept both sides of the argument.
Every time it mentions "handles the ball" the word deliberate is also used.
You are absolutely correct. And the people who create the laws have said that what the Denmark defender did should be interpreted as a deliberate act because his arm was not in a natural position. It's not some random referee who make these interpretations. It is FIFA and the group that write the laws.
It's a perfectly natural position for someone jumping.
