Is every big team manager at the world cup just an absolute idiot? Argentina should be so much better with the players they have. Dybala and Di Maria both left on the bench.

Didn't watch the France match earlier but the lineup seemed to suggest that Deschamps was playing Matuidi on the wing? When he has Dembele and Lemar on the bench and left Martial at home. Same thing with Brazil playing Paulinho over other options they have. Are these managers just dumb as rocks?

Argentina have been doing this for the last 10-15 years odd. Terrible managers, terrible squad selections, terrible lineup choices. They've already wasted the apex of an outstanding generation of players

But yeah the quality of the whole tournament is suffering because these managers don't know what they're doing. Even Low who's usually good lost the plot by leaving Sane at home imo.
