Comical. 3-0.

What a fucking mess of a game. Like watching Harry Redknapp and Roberto Martinez wrestle in an olive oil bath tub. The two best players on the pitch were Modric and Rakatic, kind of fitting that both scored, but Argentina were so fucking woeful, they made it easy for Croatia. And I don't even think Craotia were tactically good. I feel a bit of sympathy for Sampaoli, he's inherited a bunch of ill fitting individuals and has to fit it all round Messi, but he's still made a dogs dinner of things.

@Shadydan - And could my pre match description of Rebic been more prophetic ? Fucking cooky eh?

Even tho Lloris was in goal I found myself rooting for Peru after watching Umcheati. Faked two injuries to try and get opposition carded and succeeded once. Disgraceful.

I only made it to HT in the Argentina-Croatia game. Catching up now. Two top finishes for the first two goals but what on earth is Caballero playing at! Terrible. Lovely volley from Rebic.

Argentina of old have always had some creative spark across their team. This current team is totally void of any type of creativity and leaves one of the worlds greatest player feeding off scraps..

Just shocking. One would think that they would come up with better players then Marcado, Salvio, Acuna, Caballero.. Lack of defensive and creative skills within this Argentine team is baffling imo

The team he put out was void of creativity from midfield. You have to 100% blame the manager for that when two games running he fails to use Banega.

Exactly. That XI last night was Messi, Aguero and nine players who just aren't good enough (with Otamendi the only possible exception but he clearly needs cool heads beside him).

If nobody can get the ball to Messi or Aguero in good positions, they won't be able to do shit. And so it proved.
