Alot of the Spurs players have been at the world cup, and played in teams that have done well. I was looking for thoughts going forward as to how that experience will stand the spurs team in better stead. Especially with regard to champions league, and other cups.
Really i wanted to open a debate, on what the benefits are, and if it can translate well to success this season.

Can only be a good thing, the experience of being under pressure, knock out football, coming up against different play styles, winning, losing, teamwork etc...it's only going to help our players' mentality and prepare them for tough tests next season. I think this is the best mentally tough set of players we've had for a long time anyway, regardless of the fact that we keep coming up short in the last few seasons and every man and his dog calling them legends, our players seem to be made of stern stuff these days and that transformation is down to one man.

With both Belgium and England going deep into the latter stages it can only be beneficial for the players mentality. Winning mentality is infectious. let's hope one of them wins the big one.

Best thing is for England to beat Belgium in the Final and Kane scoring a perfect hattrick.
