Italy/Uruguay is tough to call isn't it. Both sides have been fundamentally disappointing, it may come down to which of Balotelli or Suarez has his shit most together. Money has to be on Suarez who was fucking born ready.

Same goes for the other group. I can see anyone winning both games. Japan haven't shone but have a game in them and Columbia may take their foot off the gas. Ivory Coast can beat anyone on their day, but lose to anyone too. Probably end up with two draws.

Think Uruguay will beat Italy, this world cup favouring the central and South American sides, as most predicted

Barkley didn't move a muscle during the national anthem (apart for the 1 second the camera was on him)

A lot of the England players seem to have the mouth motion of fish when it comes to singing the anthem.

Wow, Campbell nearly scored in the first 2 minutes.

ITV's coverage is just painful and downright weird. We have a basic run down the wing with the ball and they go on and on and on about how 'that's better' and how promising it looks. Look Townsend we know you and Clive are complete shit****s when it comes to commentary, but stop the desperate attempts to find positives from any little bit of basic play, I beg you.
