Pirlo's given everyone a lesson tonight. Looked like seedorf in that soccer aid thing.

Did you see the bit where Pirlo and Chiellini were trapped in their half against the sideline by 3 England players and a few short passes and a Pirlo flick & spin and Italy were out and attacking?

The commentator just said, "Pirlo plays the game at a different speed to everyone else". So true, he was so calm and controlled and his awareness of where everyone was is just brilliant. I'm not sure you can teach that.

First part is true, but I think its more likely that England get no points than they advance this year. Uruguay has as much talent, but more overall speed and energy, and while England should beat CR, if England lose to Uruguay, I can see them wilting under the heat and humidity in a third game.

Clearly getting a result against Uruguay is a must.
