Ricardo Rodriguez is a very good player. Obviously he's excellent going forward, but he's seemingly winning every aerial duel as well.

Drmic was offside IMO because Xhaka involved himself in play with that dummy, even if he didn't touch the ball

yeah its called interfering with the play, but that again its at the discretion of the officials. Normally all this stuff happens so quickly it doesn't even come into it and they guess.

It doesn't matter, both were onside when the initial ball was played. Drmic would only be offside if Xhaka touched the ball...

Doesn't matter if he was involved in the play since he was onside. If he was involved and in front of the keeper then it would be involved.

A dummy is a hard to pull off and make it work. Just because he looked like he was going to touch the ball is no reason to discard a good piece of skill

interfering with play is only applicable if the player interfering is offside

Have to admit, I tuned out (mentally, not literally) of this game several minutes ago.

Let's move onto the next one. :)

Tbf the Swiss pride themselves on their neutrality so hardly a surprise they will partake in the first draw of the World Cup.;)
