Lallana can be trusted to track back, he's super fit and super tenacious and would offer a greater threat going forward. I really think our best bet is to put all our guns on the pitch and give the oppo. loads to think about at the back.

Our weakness is Johnson, wellbeck and rooney (to a large extent, but would give him a start central).

I'd go:

Hart

Jones Cahill Jags Baines
-------Gerrard-------
--
Ox------------Lallana
----------Rooney----------
Sturridge--------Sterling

:woot:
Unfortunately Ox is out, so swap him for Barkley. I agree we have to attack. A draw is no good to us, we have to win and we aren't good enough in defense to play defensive anyway.

Like it but not ox for me. Also. And here's a curveball. I would swap jones and gerrard around. Gerrard can play rb and I think jones is better in front of the back 4 than gerrard.

Woah there, cowboy!:D

Gerrard's been excellent all season doing it for the lollers, the heat didn't agree with him in the first game and he was dodge, but I'd still stick him there for the next game in cooler setting with the first game out of the way.

No way he's getting up and down that line, mustard.;)

I just want to shore up that avenue of attack. Stick a speedster in front of him and let him do the leg work.

We both know that Johnson will start but its gerrard I would stick there. Plus keeping him deeper would nullify, to an extent, toothy.

Beautiful but the Columbian bird is still my number 1.

Well I say that but Clare Balding is our effort. Google her and you'll see what I mean.

Dat chin.
Hahahaha.

ESPN has Lynsey Hipgrave as one of the hosts of their world cup coverage. Stunning.

I still love a few of SSN's girls also.

I think Jones would do a better defensive job there tbh. Gerrard lacks reaction time/speed now. Plus I like seeing Jones gurning throughout a game.

Glad that Croatia beat Cameroon, always had a soft spot for them even before we had the Croat boys playing for us. They really didn't deserve to lose to Brazil and it's going to be a very tasty match between them and Mexico.

What on earth was that all about? I think his afro has grown south into his brain!

Also, just saw highlights with Mbia manhandling Mandzukic and Song's nasty elbow. They really had lost the plot!
