Dull day no South or Central American teams. Oh well good luck to the African teams rather than the oh so dull Europeans at this WC...except maybe the African teams have been even less expansive

I'll be very surprised if France and Germany don't go through.

But you never know. This WC has already sprung a few shock results.

Ramadan is going to affect both Algeria and Nigeria so I don't think we are going to get any suprises here, unfortunately

There are not that many Muslims in the Nigeria squad. As regards Algeria, it is a much more secular society than most Arab country, and I think not many of their pro footballers will be fasting.

Not a good start for Kevin Kilbane.

Yep, how did he get in on the BBC jolly to Brazil. I think the BBC have it in for Spurs fans - Keown and Savage, 2 of my most hated players and the BBC pay them to go to the greatest event in footie for a month. I'm not bitter, honest.

There's no way the linesman can see that's offside with the naked eye. We need slow motion and and it paused right at the moment the pass is played to see it's an inch or two offside.

I think Deschamps should have played Griezmann on the left with Benzema central not Giroud for this one.

Why is BBC commentary so devoid of interest or emotion? It all just horribly boring and banal.

Have an opinion for once
