I mentioned in the Day 3 thread that Moreno has a fractured tibia - feel sorry for him, weren't we looking at him? He'll be out for some time.

I can see USA beating Belgium.
I certainly hope so! If Bradley can finally play like he had been for the national team, we have a chance. But he's been pretty shit this tournament. It does bode well for us that Altidore is available today. Hoping he can start and at least give us 60'. But I think he'll probably start on the bench.

And before any of you say anything, US Jozy is verrrrry different than Sunderland Jozy in which he actually gets service for us. Plus, he had just broken his dry spell in the final warm up game with 2 goals(including 1 great strike). So I had hoped he was on the way to a good tournament. Another goal or 2 today would be great.

Player for player, the Swiss side is very decent (apart from Djourou)

If they stay organised and counter well (they have a very quick front three with Xhaka supporting), they could cause Argentina problems

People seem to be expecting loads of goals in this game. I'm not so sure about that, both teams will be looking to shore up their defences better than of late.

So far not one runner up has progress to the next round, the group winners have won the knockout rounds

I think that may change in the first match

Once again Argentina look pretty poor for a squad stacked with talent, it's ok though, Messi will save you..

Argentina have some wonderful players, but are a poor 'team'. Fancied the Swiss beforehand, and even more so after the first half.

I don't think the Argentines troubled Benaglio all half, whereas the Swiss had a couple of very good chances.
