I don't think Ronnie has played anywhere near his best so far. If he continued to play scratchy and still won it, what would it say about the rest of them?

That no-one has been playing particularly well and thus the best player has won it as he is still the best when all are playing fairly poorly?

Why do they keep saying Trump plays "naughty" snooker? Are we now referring to doing pointless things with the ball in order to make positioning even harder as "naughty"? When I used to have lessons I would have been told to stop trying to show off/acting like a ****, if I tried that.

I was told so many times when practicing that if I ever had to put side on the ball I had already fucked up.

I was told so many times, "get off the fucking table you idiot you haven't potted a ball in four hours and I'm not entirely confident that you aren't blind."

When the fuck did Dominic Dale become good enough run 7 frames in a row to lead the quarter final 12-11?

Good mini-comeback here from Robertson, he's about to level at 11-11.

I love watching interviews with him - I bet he's utterly eccentric.

Anyone watching that, best game of the tournament for me. Trump bloody unlucky in that frame but great play and attitude from Robertson to come back like that.

Looks like Robertson will be level at 5 all. Shame as I don't really like the guy.
Selby will beat him. It is too long a format for any other result imo.

Robertson is great at short forms where he can hit a few big breaks and run away with it. Over the course of a best of 33 though he will be pulled into tactical wars too often that will wear him down. I think Selby will go through probably about 17-14

Aye you're probably right. He reminds me of Nasri. Has a face I just want to slap.

Comes across as a proper twat. It was amusing when he got served with a writ in the middle of a game, from some former business partner he presumably fucked over.

Incidentally, who is this joker doing the 'trick shots' on the pool table? Not being funny, but these are the kind of things I was doing when I was 10, and something I'd imagine anyone with even a hint of cueing technique could do with their eyes closed.

I was wondering that. No idea. I've got the snooker on the second monitor as I work. I keep getting distracted by Virgo with "WHERE'S THE CUE BALL GOING!?!"

Yes, Robertson does come across as a bit of a twat. Comes across as a bit arrogant to me. Probably quite justified as he's a class player. I dunno, something just doesn't sit right with me.

Ah I was talking about Selby. I don't mind Robertson. Anyone who lists listening to Joy Division in their spare time can't be that bad.

Oh haha. Nah never liked Robertson, not overly keen on Selby either mind.

Peter Ebdon was always the one I couldn't stand...until I found out he's a Spurs fan. After that, his sometimes erratic behaviour made a lot more sense.
