Yes and No, if he has come to play LB than no, he was the worst player in the rafa era, and his criticism was harsh but his positioning was poor at times
Aaprt from Etoo all the players during the Rafa era were poor. He's only 20 and will no doubt improve as he will get a decent run of games now....

Oh come one Dinpomp! Let me give out some news too! Always too late!

Lets divide the markets, I'll post all the news regarding croats in the Bundesliga and you can have the rest?

Hamburg newspapers claiming its a done deal, fee somewhere between 3m and 4m.

Sorry.

Great deal at that price. Really good value. Still a player on the rise in my opinion. But he needs to stay healthy (and stay away from stupid red cards!).

Santon was hotly tipped as the future's best LB but has had a few Balotelli like issues with his attitude. He also had a pretty poor time at Inter and went on loan to Siena last year. He has the potential like Balotelli but needs to sort himself out a little. Either way he's a great replacement for Luis Enrique.

Mertersacker is a good player although a little injury prone which is why I'm not too fussed about his move to Arsenal. He's better than Koscielny but probably not as good as Vermaelen however he is more of a unit than Vermaelen and with the pace of the EPL I think you may see him sitting deep alot so that he doesn't get countered or beaten for pace.

Santos will suit the EPL in terms of getting forward. He will be like Ashely Cole overlapping alot behind the LM but he can't defend like some have mentioned from what I have seen of him which isn't a huge amount but especially from International games you can tell he is Brazilian as he wants to attack rather than defend.

Looks to me that QPR may actually stay up this season if they complete their intended transfers today. Initially and so far I have said the 3 promoted sides would go down but I think QPR could easily stay up ahead of Wigan if they sign the EPL experiance they get from SWP and Bellamy.

EDIT:
Simon Kjaer has today completed his loan to Roma.
Joe Cole has moved to Lille on a season long loan. Probably seen as some type of replacement for Gervinho.

It was cesena but I always thought when he play lb his positioning is poor and people drift in behind him

How many strikers do Inter need? Surely a late move for Milito in in order?

Roma have done some great biz this summer. Pjanic came out of left field, great signing.
