Last night's was a penalty. It looked like it wasn't at first, but Wes Brown didn't touch the ball at all.

it was also a bit of a dive, even though Brown took his foot and it was a foul

Robinsons Save in which the ref gave a penalty.
Still have no idea how he got that one wrong.

Unfortunately can't find the video I'm talking about. It is far worse than the Robinson one. And that was awful.

18th February 1996, FA Cup 5th round , Alan Wilkie was the referee, Cantona scored the ridiculous penalty, Ryan Giggs took the corner. It was an outrage and solidified my hatred of Man U. Worst refereeing I have ever seen.

Was it Chelsea Liverpool earlier on this season where either Mikel or Essien ran into Finnan or Carragher, they both fell over and a penalty was given? I cant remember exactly but something like that.

Well one that got my blood boiling was against scum2 at the Lane a few years back when Hasselwank tripped himself up with Ant gardner a good 2 yards away and the ref gave a pen, I was fuming.

Last season away at Villa, Davenport (I think) got sent off, never a pen. Justice was served though when they missed

Robbo's brilliant charge out and save at Sevilla last season... Feel sick just thinking about it.
yup, with you on that - outstanding bit of keeping and an atrocious bit of refereeing, i was speechless for Robbo.

Wasn't it Fowler who tripped up in the box ages ago, got up and signaled to the ref he'd fallen over, but the ref had already pointed to the spot and didn't go back on his decision?

Good call. Forgot that one. Fowler deliberately missed the pen, too. Nice touch from someone you wouldn't naturally think of as a gent of the game.

Pires in the Arse's unbeaten season ... it wouldn't have been unbeaten but for that dive!

That's the one for me. ****. (Pires, not you)

Kev's choice is good

Kenny Hibbet must still be laughing now. Mind you, without it, we wouldn't have had a great night out at Highbury........

spurs chelsea a few years back at the lane. hassal-baink went to shot but kicked the floor and fell over and got a pen, i was going mental.

also away to the scum last season, chimbonda put a fantastic tackle in, got all ball but was givern as a pen, and the 2nd pen in that game where van persie basically picks the ball up with his hands, runs 10 yards, then jj did foul him but surely the hand ball most be givern 1st.

Easy call.

11th April 1981 FA Cup semi @ Hillborough vs Wolves.

Our cupboard had been bare for a few years but we were winning the semi 1-0 but in the last minute Hoddle tackled Kenny Hibbitt and he fell over like a sack of shit and the ref gave a pen, which caused extra time, we led 2-1 but they equalised again to finish 2-2.

Our coach didn't get out of the car park up there till 7.30pm, and we also forecast the Lemmings Lane disaster, it was a shithole.

The replay was at Highbury .. We stuffed them 3-0 the third from Ricky Villa was a peach of a thunderbolt, into the goal in front of the North Bank, mind you the ground was full of Tottenham fans anyway.

Clive Thomas wasn't it? I think he said some years later that if there was one decision he could reverse it was that one. After he'd seen it on MoTD he realised he'd got it wrong.

I was going to say that one. It was early 01/02 season if I remember right. Lampard was sent off late on. The incident put Chelsea 1-2 up. Hasselbaink went down about 5 yards away from Steffen Freund, tripping over his own feet. Worst decision ever. Think the ref may have been Riley.

Other than that, Robbo away to Sevilla last season was madness. And away from Spurs, can't remember when but I recall the most blatant penalty ever not being given to Derby when Stefano Eranio was tripped in the box. It was almost too clear.

Leicester vs Sheffield united last week. Fucking disgrace. 10M outside of the box, not even a foul, given a red card to boot.
