Considering he only cost around £6 million, I wouldn't call Schweinsteiger one of the worst signings of the season.
Was always a risky move considering his injuries, but it's not like they've pissed away £35 million on him.
Martial had a productive initial spell, but all gone quiet since then. Time and age on his side though.

Pedro on the other hand just doesn't seem to fit in the Chelsea formation.
Falcao is the dumbest signing of the season though as everyone else seemed to realise he was crud from his time at United.
Jose went into God complex mode again, believing he could change the player's fortunes, and so far has that one very wrong.

They'd be better off giving Solanke some minutes, but then Mourinho doesn't trust young players.

Spunking a fair bit on his wages though... I remember when he came on against us for his debut finding it hilarious that the commentators were fawning over him, creaming their pants over the fact that he was pointing to where he wanted the ball, really, Klopp inventing pressing and Schweinsteiger inventing pointing, creative bunch those Germans!

Watford signed so many players that about half a dozen of them have barely featured so far. As a collective they should get the award.

I think less god complex and more nefarious Jorge Mendes connection personally..

Florian Thauvin
Adama Traore
Baba Rahman
Nicolas Otamendi
Alexander Mitrovic

Of those, Otamendi is probably the biggest waste of money, although Mitrovic typifies everything that's wrong with Newcastle at the moment.
Bizarre list. Traore is 19, and the latter three have been good in the main.

Thauvin
Pedro
Veretout

I would have said Glenn Murray before the weekend but then he scored one of the biggest goals in Bournemouth's history. Doesn't fit their style of play at all

@Davo99 not sure how you can rate the opening post disagree when I'm asking a question of who do you think has been the worst signing. Are you disagreeing with your own opinion???

Hard to include Martial in this list though. The lad has bags of potential and is already a great player, his problem thus far if that prick LVG playing him out of his best position.

So bloody glad we didn't go for LVG!

Danny Ings. All the others have a chance to improve and play more games. He's just fucked.

It a completely different thread but I don't think Danny Ings should be allowed to play for Liverpool until the transfer tribunal fix a fee. Unless I'm wrong, this still hasn't been concluded and burnley are yet to receive compensation. It stinks that he's allowed to play games while the transfer hasn't really been concluded.

He's out for the season.

Yep but the point being. How was he allowed to play games when burnley were left out of pocket. It's hardly fair.

He was out of contract. You can't stop him from playing until the decision is made as he has to earn his living. Say it was a league 2 player on £600 a week. How would they pay their mortgage?

They have to pay compensation. It should be sorted quicker, i agree. But that is down to the fa.
