Would a Leicester win, a City win or a draw benefit us more?

Sorry if I post this here so move it to General Football if I'm wrong, although this is indirectly Spurs related chat.

IMO a Leicester win would benefit us more on the basis that Leicester may more than likely start dropping points towards the end of the season, while City, with the experience that they have, will undoubtedly end the season strongly. So would rather City drop points now.

This is of course assuming we do well till season end.

Opinions?

Won't matter if we don't we don't beat Watford. We should just concentrate on what we need to do...

Well of course that as well. Dont spoil the argument. Assuming we do well till end of season, what would your choice be?

I'm taking it one game at a time. Been in this position too many times when we've blown it. There are still many games to go to start thinking about what this and that result would be good for us.

The only result that will be good for us is taking 3 points from Watford.

I always want a draw in these sort of situations, because they get fewer points between them.

Of course, as long as we win I don't really care.

The answer might depend on whether or not you have ambitions for the title or would bank "just" a top 4 spot. If you want the latter then Leicester beating City and Arse would be preferred, IMO.

Got to be a draw. If we win today and beat City next we could be top of the league if Arsenal beat Leicester next week.

I dont expect Leicester to win the league, although they are capable.
I dont expect Spurs to win the league, althought we are even more capable.

If its not either of us or Leicester then we all want City to to win it. I'd rather finsh 3rd behind City and Leicester than finish 2nd behind Arsenal.

Priorities must be:
1 Top 4
2 Finish ahead of Arsenal
3 Win the league -which takes care of the rest.

Our only goal should be to win the league imo. We need leicester to drop points and lose and draw against city and arsenal, either way round. Its better if city get less points than arsenal too over the next two games.. Obviously we need to win both games. Easy.

Leicester won't fail miserably. They may not win the league (although it's not out of the question). They will however finish within top 4, and we'd do wise to not cast predictions based on them totally failing. I think a draw will benefit us the most in terms of securing any top 4 (3?) spot.

But if we finish second we can release a load of books about it like Liverpool.

This is exactly the sequence of priority we should aim for.

I personally want Leicester to beat City and Arsenal.
I am hoping that Leicester's 'easy' run in will actually be anything but. I'm hoping they will struggle when they have to play teams like West Brom who play with a play not to lose attitude.
I think Leicester are still getting the benefit of having teams having a go at them. I'm hoping they struggle to break teams down when faced with 2 banks of 4 sat deep. Here's to hoping.
