I guess I am a fan of “the process.”

If we are performing well and there are signs of improvement then I am happy.

I think we have performed well in difficult circumstances.

Chelsea have gone backwards and now in limbo with their managerial and chairman situation.

So I would rather our season than Chelsea’s.

I'd only swap our medic with their one with the sexy arse. Oh wait she got the boot. Nope, bollocks to Chelsea and their dickhead fans

Sad but it is true that the money and exposure from being in the Champions League trumps winning lesser cups in the modern era. Grew up on the glory of Spurs but will keep what we have achieved this season if given the choice.

The premier league and champions league have changed the face of football both home and abroad. Both emerged in the early 90's which corresponded with our reduced frequency of winning trophies (2 league cups in 27 years)
Until that time our cup haul was as good, if not better than the rest.
We've been passed by United, Arsenal and equalled by Chelsea in the FA Cup stats now.
There's no coincidence that all three have featured heavily in the Champions league and all three have won multiple premier league titles.

There's more than a casual link there folks.

Would we really want our season rendered a success by Phil Jones being gormless?
