Wrong type simple as that. Add in his other issues, and it's obvious why we wouldn't be looking at him

Maybe other issues, but not being strong or direct enough aren't criticisms that can be aimed at Shaqiri. Pretty much all he does is be strong, fast and direct.

I hope he can settle now, more importantly he's going straight into my Fantasy Football team.

Just to point out here is yet another player who would have improved us that we are passing on, I sure hope Levy has a plan.

I didn't want him at Spurs and don't think we were ever interested but I reckon he will score against us on Saturday... I think Stoke will win 2-1 or 2-0 anyway, even before they announced this. They're a horrible team to play and beat us twice last year. We all know the script... they will sit deep against us and hit us on the counter, whilst we struggle to break them down just like last year. I was there and saw them do it. It's all way too predictable.

Then why fucking bother with it all, Mike? Seriously? What's the point in doing anything?

You've already decided exactly how everything is going to turn out (i.e., terribly) - and you seemingly won't be "happy" until you've dragged everyone down into your spiral of depressing pessimistic views.

It's really tiresome.

I agree with Mike.

The world is ending, my wife doesn't want me, fuck, even my kids hate me.

Spurs will be in division 2 next season, with Aldershot beating them in the silly litte cup they play in, in those leagues.

It's just not worth it anymore.

Because despite everything I still love Spurs. Always will. People just hate my honesty and realistic views, but I don't care. I only care about one thing... Spurs.

i really hope we are getting in top targets if we are overlooking these ones, and I mean players who will get into the first team off the bat and make a difference, we are not poor, if stoke and west ham spend this sort of money we surely can, its getting to that ryan nelson saha stage of desperation now.

12 mil, 23 years old! Crap time at Inter but this bloke is class. He would have well been worth the risk for that money. Good luck to him we will probably be in for him next summer now when he will cost at least 20 mil.

You still think Rose/Lloris are gonna be sold this window. You're ludicrously pessimistic.
