I want that he is given a fair chance in our Premier League squad. With Bale moving into the middle we could do with Townsend& Falque as added creative options.
I dont see the point of keeping him in the squad, if we dont want to use him and I actually think we could use him now as he looks comfortable on the wing and he isnt very greedy which other than lennon, you cant really say about our players with our constant shooting from outside the box
He made a lot of chances yesterday. Headed a couple balls down in the box and made a few good crosses. I always thought he looked best in the role behind the striker, but Almeria's formation is very fluid in that he can be on the left then seamlessly move to the right and back to the left within a span of about 4-5 minutes.

It suits him well given his ability to play with both feet and him looking comfortable on either side. I think he could be a good squad player for us moving forward, but I'm guessing Almeria has some sort of option to buy built into his loan hinging upon their promotion to La Liga. They've still got 9 matches to go, and Almeria currently sit 2nd in the table with 1 point ahead of two teams with 57 points.
He has said he wants to achieve automatic promotion and it seems that have secured at least a play off place. We would be stupid if we agreed to a sell option as he is at least a mid table la liga quality

I watched him yesterday and he reminded me of Berbatov, in the sense you want the ball to go to him and as soon as he gets it you know he is going to do something and some of his play was amazing like one cross with some back spin on it so that it would sit up for the striker to attack in which Charles nearly scored from

Interesting, seems he is impressing on loan, I'd consider giving him until December to make a first team impression. In the setup AVB appears to prefer, Falque would appear, on current form, to offer a much better option than say Dempsey. I wonder what Andre's long term plans are....

Difference between the two though is goals - Dempsey has scored 10 so far this season for Spurs. Think that until we sort out the striker/goalscorers Dempsey will remain a Spurs player and played in preference to the likes of Falque (unless Falque starts scoring goals at PL level).

I would say that Falque wouldnt need to replace Dempsey's goals as clearly we arent creating many decent chances atm because we have a team full of greedy basterds, I think that Sig will replace dempsey's contribution and that someone like Falque or the man himself is required to add some imagination to make these greedy basterds some decent chances instead of watching them taking a shot from outside the box every 5-7mins

Honestly, I wonder whose decision it was to loan out Falque and Townsend when we had no other recognized wide players in the first team squad and Bale had already stared playing inside through the middle? And we wonder why we're struggling now and out of all cups?

Although Falque is doing well in Segundo division it is a League 1/Championship competition so as 22 he should be eating it up. He needs a spell at a mid table or higher La Ligua team to show whether he really could make it at Spurs - and even that would not test his ability to deal with increased physicality of PL.

But going back to the goals point - we are not scoring that many and goals win games - to state the obvious. So as I say until we sort out the striking/goial scoring area we need Dempsey's goals (even though his limitations as an alllround player are recognised)

But neither Faque or Townsend were playing much before they went out on loan, so obviously AVB was not that concerned at involving them. To move them out on loan was therefore logical

NB. It would have been more logical to me to play them throughout the season, but that was clearly not AVB's logic

Agree but even though they wasn't playing, when you look at it we only have 2 1st team wingers, Bale and Lennon, one of those is not even playing wide anymore. Which leaves Lennon, Dempsey and Siggurdson. Everyone knows players like Lennon will always get injuries, so there's a strong possibility that you could be left with Dempsey and Sig as your 2 wide men and that's never really gonna be enough.

Agreed with all that. In theory AVB could have tried out Ceballos, Fredericks or even young McEvoy....but its a bit of a circular argument as AVB wasn't playing the much more experienced Townsend and Falque....so why would he play the less experienced ones.

So I come back to the conclusion that AVB didn't fancy playing Townsend and Falque without experience, so sent them out on loan.

Just to continue, it appears he is being rushed back because they are desperate for him back but he did well

There were alot of tweets saying Falque the crown, which I guess means good

Also a getafe fan was pissed that he was playing in the segunda saying it was a waste

More tweets saying how good is falque

The commentator also compared him to Robben lol

I found them all actually
This was his first start involved in the build up play to the first goal

Cross for second goal pushed to scorer, he does well first by covering for the LB and then running half the pitch

Has a shot and then assist for Third goal

Wasnt involved in fourth goal and got subbed off
