If they're not going to play him I can't see the point of him being there, I hope we can re-arrange something.

He's been dropped.......hope it doesnt determine that he's not able to play at the PL level because I think he has a lot of good things about his game.

When Falque went there, my boss, who is a Soton fan, said he wasn’t needed and couldn’t see him getting a game. A very odd loan.

He's not in the squad today.

Very strange. The one game I've seen him play in, he did well and looked like their biggest danger.

I'd love to know what's going on.

Well Saha isn't on loan so that's bollocks already. We signed him permanently so we could go for Krasic on loan.

I didn't see much that impressed me in the Europa league if I'm honest. Fancy name and a few stepovers.

I thought he looked ok in several of the matches, a few good touches but he certainly didn't say 'wow you must sign me' and tbh I expected more - he is the same age as Kyle Walker, 9 months older than Andros Townsend and almost 2 years older than Tom Carroll - and he didn't stand out more than the younger ones.

The Spurs announcement of signing didn't say any contract term and I did wonder if we said to Juve 'terribly sorry we are out of Europa league so no more games for Falque - we think you should take him back' ... and they said something like... 'gulp........he is out of contract at the end of this season so why don't you take him on now, we will novate his contract to you and you pay his wages until the end of the season (perhaps with an option to extend the contract if you want)'

In other words we have taken him on but if it doesn't work out he is gone at the end of the season. Tough on him but if Juve are not that struck with him (hence little/no fee and a transer to us), we are not that strock and Southampton are not...time he found another club and tried harder !

A new small, technically minded young player can't get in a team going for automatic promotion in a very hard and physical league?

Well fuck me that's shocking.
