To be fair, you'd think after four years you might've made an impression enough that they'd remember your birthday

I'm with him, f*ck 'em - football aside, he's a person too - if i worked somewhere for four years and no-one remembered my birthday, i'd be well disappointed.

Oh, and Happy Birthday, Yaya - Spurs are particularly good at celebrating their players birthdays, i hear. If you fancy a cuppa, Dan's got a kettle and i'm sure he could stretch to a cake if he knew you were popping in (y)

Quite willing to take a pay cut as well....sounds like a DL special coming up!

I'd love to live in a world where this would be realistic. Lets be honest though, if he did intend to leave Citeh, there will be a queue of clubs a mile long wanting his signature. He really is a world class midfielder.

This is a player that is the finished article of Sherwood's description of Bentaleb. Yaya can really do the job of two players. Please mortgage the ground if needs be to buy him.

I just read that article. There are too many gems in there. I like the one where he claims that if people at work didn't make a fuss of you on your birthday you would leave. Apparently it's "normal".

What fucking world do these guys live in?

So there's a video of the air crew bringing him a Man City birthday cake on the plane, singing happy birthday to him. Nasri claps. Yaya sits there, with his headphones on, not acknowledging any of it.

There's the City twitter feed where they put a picture of Yaya with 'everyone wish him a happy 31st birthday today'.

Agent's trying to get a player a transfer often lead to weird and stupid ways of claiming 'disrespect', but this takes the birthday cake. Yaya is a great footballer, but it seems he's also a total bellend.

Apart from the fact that they got him a cake, and sent him a message on twitter.

He's being a massive fucking primadona.

Not to mention the fact that by doing this he's showing that he clearly doesn't give a flying fuck about the fans...

Shhh! It's as if you don't want him to come to Spurs, as he so obviously will if we keep talking about it in this thread!
