Probably surplus to requirements? Quick but not a great defender from the glimpses we have seen?
Reinvest the proceeds from the likes of Yedlin, Pritchard, Chadli? and upgrade the squad where we need it.

No need for yedlin to stay, with Walker near his peak, trippier as back up and Walker-Peters coming through we're doing ok at right back.

Think he definitely improved while he was there, but he won't dislodge Walker. The question is, is he a better backup or does he have more potential than Trippier?

I think he'd be a useful utility player, capable of playing either fullback spot or on the wing if called upon. But, we don't really need depth at any of those spots, so no loss if he moves on.

Not been that impressed with Trippier and Walker who I like
could kick on again or blow up.
Yedlin can cover both full back positions and play further forward
so a useful versatile utility play which all managers love
Keep him I think

Starting place at Sunderland where he fit in well and learned the English game, or third choice here... I know what i'd pick if i were him.

Yes I've always thought if he makes it, he will be a right winger. He may not make it, of course. Don't see him starting in defence.

I was surprised that he was doing preseason for us. He has improved but he isn't good enough. Not good enough to be back up right back or play as a winger as some people suggested we would do when we bought Trips.

Can he though? The EPL is a lot tougher than pre-season and I wouldn't be surprised if he was a worse LB than Kyle Naughton.

he was looking great against Atletico Madrid - I say keep him as a better player than our backup wingbacks
