Tottenham are ready to splash out close to £16million on young Venezuelan midfielder Yeferson Soteldo.

According to Don Balon, Spurs are looking to swoop for the pocket-sized 20-year-old next summer after another season in South America.

The report also states that Watford are keen on a deal to bring the youngster to the Premier League too.

To be fair, he's been starting pretty regularly for Huachipato who are in the Chilean first devision so he's not a complete rookie. I also think Poch likes to have young players at the club so they can learn the system. Hence we only seem to lone players we want rid of. Obviously this is a link from the Don so I doubt there is anything in it.
