Tottenham and Everton eye Yerry Mina with Barcelona prepared to let Colombia hero out on loan
The centre-back starred at the World Cup but is surplus to requirements at the Nou Camp next season

COLOMBIA giant Yerry Mina will be offered to Premier League clubs in a shock move by Barcelona.

The 6ft 4in defender’s header shook Gareth Southgate’s men in the last 16 at the World Cup and soon he could be terrorising the opposition at club level.

Mina, 23, is about to be sidelined by the Spanish giants just months after signing as they line up Sevilla centre-half Clement Lenglet.

The Frenchman, 23, will choose Barca ahead of Manchester United in a £20million deal — as we revealed in April.

And Barcelona plan to send out Mina on loan rather than keep him on their bench behind Lenglet, Gerard Pique and Samuel Umtiti.

Barca are sure to demand Mina plays regularly as they want him to stay sharp.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is an admirer, but may be unable to meet that condition.

Everton have also been having talks with Mina’s dad.

We won’t do a loan deal

you say that, but if and I mean just if it's for 2 seasons, we might be able to consider it, then buy de Ligt and do what Ajax want, a 2 year loan back (that depending on what de Ligt wants).

What the Fuck? He is a poor defender but good in the air. I would be baffled if there was any interest.

He is, in no way, good enough with the ball at his feet to play in our system. No thanks.

I thought he looked pretty decent in the world cup. Surely if Barca signed him he has some technique?

No way we would loan a player without an option to buy though.

His positional play and ball control was not good. Saved by Sanchez numerous times.

Only reason for us to sign him would be long term, as I can't see him doing well together with Vertonghen in neither a 2 or 3 at the centre. So no go on the loan.

He'd be on my shortlist for sure.

De Ligt
Pavard
Mina
Maguire

I think any one of those would be a good signing.

We should've got Maguire from Hull instead of letting Leicester get him, 15m was an absolute snip, I really don't understand why we didn't go in for him, baffling!!

I bet 75% of Spurs fans would agree with you now but 75% would have disagreed with you at the time.

Wasn’t he deemed to be to slow? We can cross him off the list now as Leicester will want a fortune for him.

It wouldn't make sense because he wouldn't be a starter. He's still young with a lot of potential and he needs more first team experience. A loan to a lesser team like Everton makes a lot more sense.

Got a vague memory of pleat saying he turned us down as he wanted to play every game. Remember being impressed by it at the time.

I do actually not rate Maguire at all. Don’t think he is good but I realise this is an unpopular opinion in the middle of the world cup glory.
