Welcome to my world. Unless Wednesday, Leeds or Middlesboro are planning to get promoted soon, I fear my chances of seeing the mighty Spurs in the next year or two are slim to none. :(
What prevents you? Money? ...'cause the train down takes less that 2 hours so it's not a riiiiight lot of effort

Pretty much this. I'm a full time student, I work weekends & cos I'm a mature student I can't claim any funding, loans, grants etc. So basically, I earn about £250 a month, live with my parents & only have Thursdays off. Believe me if it were just down to train journeys I'd be all over it, paying for it & sorting out cover at work is different gravy though...:(

Aye thought cost must be the factor. I want to do another degree when I return to the UK so I'm sure that will be me in a couple of years :( feel for you... will all be worth it when the study is done though, huh?! :)

Well there are about 6 vacancies for every qualified chef in the UK & a level 2 qualification will get you a job pretty much anywhere in the world so its definitely worth the short term pain. I just wish I'd done that in the first place instead of getting a politics degree that I've had no use for whatsoever...Hindsight, eh?

This is funny because I have level 2 in food prep and cooking but want to do a PPE degree when I go back to the UK!

You're certainly good at that :)

As the 4 year old Korean kid in my class would say, 'good job, man!!'

He sounds like he'd be the sidekick in an Indiana Jones movie. He'd wear a baseball cap and at some point save Indy by using some form of marshal-art to kick a goon/Nazi in the butt just as he was about to throw Indy off a moving car or something. He'd also probably throw a rock or similar object which would hit a mook in the face with unerring accuracy.

Then he'd high-five Indy and say 'Good job, man!'.
