The society of Black Lawyers are just out to make a name for themselves.

Besides, their plan shows they know nothing about football and Spurs. We use the word "Yids" not as a anti Semitic word but as a badge of honour.

Clearly having a Society of Black Lawyers is racist in itself? Why not have a Society of Lawyers where like minded people regardless of race can fight for equality together?

Exactly, impress people think we are abusing ourselves.

A completely unheard of group needs to make a series of completely unrealistic and disproportionate demands so we can give themselves publicity.

"the society of Black Lawyers"

First meeting minutes.

"first piece of business. Bagsy Luke Cage!"

"Oh, i wanted to be power man" "You can be Blade or... Black Lightning, Black Panther or Nick Fury?"

"But everyone knows Nick Fury is white, and i don't wanna look like a pirate."

What shall be our collective name; The Black Justice league? Brotherhood of evil jobsworths? Dark Avengers?

"no we don't want to appear too superior, The SBL will do, we'll tell everyone it's the society of black lawyers but really it's SUPER BLACK LAWYERS"

Sad but this seems to regularly crop up now, maybe it won't be long before we are barred from chanting Yid.

Does that mean the league for black lawyers are going to stop black rappers referring to themselves as the 'n' word?

The Society of Black Lawyers are racist.

I know this was said in jest, but there is an element of truth to the statement. All of these societies which cater for a single race/religion/etc. always argue they want a fairer playing field and propose to do this by biasing against others. It appears that none of them are familiar with the term meritocracy.

At the moment they are just trying to stir up some trouble to get their name out there, in order to win more black players across to the black player association they want to start up. They are a waste of space tbh. The yid army chant is not racist, there is no derogatory aim to the chant, so lets just forget about them.

Sorry my friend, I just created another thread on the self same subject, I didn't see this one.

Needless to say, I'm very very angry that nobody seems to have taken the trouble to understand why it is we call ourselves 'YIDS' with such great pride. Too much listening to the likes of that idiot Baddiel and not enough to us, the real Spurs fans.

As a Jewish fan myself, I love to hear it chanted. If we call ourselves 'YIDS' with pride then nobody can use that word against us. We've reclaimed it for purely positive purposes and it bloody well works.

If any Jewish person objects to it, I would hazard a guess at them not fully understanding why we use it, even the non Jewish Spurs fans use it and feel proud to do so.

The next time we play West Ham, Chelsea or Man City and suffer the Nazi salutes, the revolting chants and the hissing noises we should really go out of our way as a club to lodge an official complaint.

Chelsea seem to be all for banning some moron from making racist gestures, but are willing to turn a blind eye to all the racist nonsense from the terraces whenever we come to town. It's simply not good enough from the authorities. Calling us racists for calling ourselves Yids only shows their utter ignorance of the real facts.

Ironic that they are not willing to ban their captain for making worse racist remarks though, isn't it.
