He was very good at his previous club (Lille was it?) and I was quite surprised he signed for Newcastle who didn't look the finest team about, especially considering his previous team had qualified for the Champions League.

Now idea how Newcastle did it!

For me it's Parker.

The addition of Scott has completed our side and has transformed us into such a more solid and balanced unit. It was as if he completed the puzzle.

Apparently he will be allowed to leave once a offer from a big clubs comes in and this was one of the reason he joined

He'll be gone in a year, unless Newcastle keep up this miraculous form. Saying that, they have to play someone in the top half of the table one day. Let's see if he can have an influence on a game against a bigger team.

In other news... Jonas and Coloccini are playing brilliantly. It's about time though I suppose.

Cabaye is a classy player. VERY surprised the Arse didn't go for him at that price, with the full knowledge that Fabregas at the very least would be off.

Hes on the bench for my fantasy football team. The one day I don't need to use him he scores.

Apart from the QPR match (in which no NUFC player had any impact) he's been very solid actually. Especially considering Enrique moved on to Liverpool and he's been dropping deeper to accommodate a lesser and unnatural full back (Taylor). If Santon emerges as their first choice Left Back and recaptures the form that saw him break into the Azzurri I imagine Jonas will be able to push up more and get at teams.

Looks a good player, good move putting himself in the PL shop window by moving from France to a club like Newcastle.
