Sol on Walcott:

"You can't lose him because his contract is running out or he wants a little bit more money. You've got to keep those type of players. We've lost too many over time.

"It used to be losing these players at 30 years old - now they're losing these players at mid-20s and that's crazy. You can't be losing players at mid-20s because of contract situations - it's crazy now."

oh the irony...

Above all he is a very, very weird man.

Has a sack of spuds on his shoulder too for whatever reason. I remember him referring to himself as some kind of thinking footballer, likes art and poetry etc...problem with that is he seems to be one of the thickest men around. Things he comes out with make little sense. A reall odd ball but without character ( which odd balls can have )

Sol what are you saying?
Surely you should be advocating he leave a team with little ambition and join a local rival that are more likely to win trophies, oh and on a free. Plus don't forget suggesting to Theo that he should publicly state that he won't leave.

I'm initially reading that as 'we' as in Arsenal rather then football in general.

Slag.
