YK is just beginning to find his form again after the long term lay off.

Making him club captain does seem to have been a good idea after all.

He is a man mountain, just what we need at the back and his heart does seem to be with the club so this is good news I would say.

If he remains injury free and gets his old form back consistently then I am really pleased with this.

The 28-year-old centre-back, aged 28, has been ever-present in new manager Mauricio Pochettino’s side so far this campaign.

Great article.....

If. And its a big If. If he remains fit and continues the form of his last 2 games then we have a decent player back. The captaincy has clearly given him a bounce and I like that. It shows pride in the club.

Very early doors though. But it would be like a new signing if he can continue his latest form.

How old is he again?

Before his latest run of injuries, he was developing into an excellent CB, certainly one of the best in Spurs EPL era. He looked really rusty last year and at the start of this year, but he has played so little football the last 2 years. I'm confident he can get fit and get back to being a defensive rock and a set piece threat.

I will always love him and VDV for that 3-2 win at Emriates
