Anyone heard of Pablo Piatti? I always buy him on FM and he's awsome so I thought I'd do a bit of research. Some of the articles I found on him sound really promising. He played in the title winning Estudiantes(sp) side last year or year before with Veron and Sosa(now with Bayern) in midfield. He's left footed so could fit in quite nicely on the left, and he has an italian passport. Although he's only 5'4 so we'd have dwarfs on either wing. He reminds me on Aimar for some reason.

and that symbol is meant to represent what excatly. Teemu's head??

and for the record I like Teemu a lot and I'm defo not after his head, I like his head:wink:, I;m just saying that if he plays LB then the poor bloke is going to get sloughted on here again and I don't like that, cos it's not really his fault.

seen highlights of the recent Schalke CL game against Porto, the GK for Schalke ( Manuel Neuer ) was awesome, fantastic one on one save amongst his saves and fantastic penalty saves to help them through

worth buying for sure

Apparently, according to someone who posted the other day, he would never leave Schalke. He was born in Gelsenkirchen, belongs to the Schalke Ultras and has Schalke tattoos all over him.

Speaking of another highly rated German keeper, did anyone catch Tim Wiese's double disaster against Rangers? And Stuttgart tonked Werder 6-3 today.

I watched the game and he was outstanding. Reminded me of Schmeicel or Khan

Was going to post about Neuer. A magnificent display.

One sensible, if probably naive, approach to our goalkeeping situation might be to sell Robbo and release Cerny and in their steads sign this Stekelenburg chappy, who seems highly rated if young and unproven at the highest level. So, what we'd need as well is someone who could understand him and give him the support he needs. someone say who is vastly experienced in the Premier League, dominates their box, is a proven winner, and is preferably Dutch. If he comes from a team where the resevre keeper is likely to oust him from the 1st team next season anyway, all the better.

Any suggestions that may fit the above...?
