Also funny how Neymar has gone from like the third best player in the world to not being on the list

Like Fabrega, Neymar has also been struggling in his first season at Barca - but it's not as if he's lost it; he's shown flashes of brilliance at Barca this season. Besides, it's hard to shine when playng next to Messi.

The best
Messi
Ronaldo

The next best
Suarez
Zlatan

The best of the rest
Xavi
Iniesta
Hazard
Aguero
Bale
Diego Costa

Honorable Mentions: Neuer, Sergio Ramos, Thiago Silva, Lahm, Kompany, Schweinsteiger, Vidal, Modric, Busquets, Yaya Toure, Fabregas, Ozil, Kroos Ribery, Robben, Reus, David Silva, Falcao, Cavani, Neymar, van Persie, Lewandowski.

PS! There is a very fine line between "the best of the rest" and "honorable mentions"...

Lol at Diego Costa being mentioned ahead of Falcao.

lol@those who haven't understood that "performing well" for Monaco - and being out injuried lately - compared to "peforming" well for an Atl. Madrid team that, against heavy odds, are still in contention of winning La Liga and are in the quarter-finals in the CL... is not the same.
Being "better" is not something static. If so I would have included Maradona, Pele, Cruyffe etc

In the summer he was linked for a move to Liverpool for £20m. Since then he's had his best season ever in terms of goals but still went 8 or 9 matches without scoring.

Form is temporary, class is permenant.

True about class but this season he really has been better than Falcao imo. But he sure isn't the most likeable player around and, yes, it's just this season he's been consistently playing at a "higher" level.
It stinks that he choose playing for Espana over Brasil though.

Agree but Bale who wasn't in Neymars class:rolleyes: last season, has had a poor start and is in my most peoples list he would be in my top 3
