This great site is for Spurs fans who come from all over the world to chat about Spurs. But I'm more than sure many of you on here will have a Non-League team that you also have a soft spot for.:)

After moving south of the border after hitching up with her indoors, i found myself surrounded with many a non league team. I watched them all before deciding which team to follow. Welling United being only ten minutes walk away are the nearest, trouble is they play in red and i just can't bring myself to follow ANY team that plays in that colour.:)

So i settled on Dartford who play in the Ryman Premier League, they play at Princes Park and in fact my first game there was a pre season friendly a couple of years ago when a Spurs 11 were the visitors. I was very impressed with there brand new stadium and the general set up there.

So i have grown to love the non league game, with the added bonus of once again standing on the terraces. Here's a vid of Dartford in action last season.

So what non league team do you lads follow?

I think there can be little doubt that Lewes are the best football side in the entire world that play at a ground called The Dripping Pan.

Yeah not good.

Dover have a serious amount of money this year, I have it from a pretty reasonable source that they have a weekly wage budget of around £8000.

They are seriously looking to get promoted this season.

I look out for York, but my other team is Northampton Town, who could end up in the conference next year :-(

My hometown team - Worksop Town F.C. 5th oldest club in the world

Chris Waddle played for them for a few years and Michael Dawson' brother Kevin plays for them at the moment

AFC Telford in the Blue Square North division.

Narrowly missed out on promotion 2 seasons running, lost 3-1 away to Fleetwood on saturday. Phil Jagielka's older brother plays at right back for them.

I'm from Bromley, but moved up to Telford 18 months ago and live a 10 minute walk from the Buck's Head stadium.

£9 adults, £1 for kids... a bargain if ever there was one!

Over and out.

Not a bad shout Mr O, but Worthing F.C. are indeed the best team in Sussex, actually, fuck that - the world!!

I guess I would go for whichever teams are local to me, Brentford and Qpr are the nearest teams to me but neither are non league just yet....so I am thinking Hayes?

I played for Kingstonians and Beaconsfield when I was younger so them too I suppose, although I must admit I pay no attention to these leagues.

Also have something of a soft spot for AFC Wimbledon, in as far as I have sympathy for their fans and like what they did as a reaction to the demise of their origional club.

Don't actually have a non-league team. Look out for Oxford's scores because I've got a couple of mates who are huge fans, but I'm from Wycombe originally so they're my only other team in England.
