Early days, but judging by now how should our team look like for example (always dependant on coach)

Here my first thoughts:

1 Casillas (who knows? Bale & Modric could help and our "partnership" as well) / Begovic
22 Robinson (Or another english keeper who can do the business when needed)
34 Archer

2 Walker
3 Caulker
4 New left back (Ben Davies, Luke Shaw (not realistic), ... )
5 Quality Centre Back (Schär? )
6 Chiriches
16 Naughton
20 Dawson
24 Veljkovic
35 Fryers

7 Lallana
11 Lamela
14 Holtby
15 Capoue
19 Dembele/ 8 Paulinho / 8 Lampard ( i do think a character like him is useful)
23 Eriksen
30 Sandro
31 Townsend
42 Bentaleb

9 Soldado
10 Adebayor
21 Chadli / Mirallas
37 Kane

Too much thought involved for me :p

If Levy wants a new manager in in the summer, then lets get it tied up, if its VG then VG should be advising Levy who goes and who he wants brought in.

I'm unsure who to bring in, but if I had a wishlist I would want Baines at LB, Vert, Kaboul and Waler as my back 4. So the LB area needs strengthened. I think our midfield is strong enough at the moment. Bring in another recognized striker and keep Soldado and Ade too.

Lloris/Begovic, Young keeper

Walker, Naughton, Fredericks
Kaboul, Schar, Caulker, Chiriches, Veljkovic
. Experienced leader would be good also.
Rodriguez, Rose, Fryers.

If we have enough English players then I wouldn't mind a cheeky go for Evra to replace Rose. Always admired his attitude and is a good leader.

Sandro, Capoue
Paulinho, Dembele, Bentaleb, Carroll, Holtby.
Could get someone with experience in this area as well. Pirlo on a free?

Eriksen, Lamela, Townsend, Chadli, Konoplyanka, Pritchard

Adebayor, Soldado, Berahino, Kane, Coulthirst

Top-quality left-winger, left-back, a centre-back and Caulker back.
Lloris can be made to stay IMO, Vertonghen won't. Kaboul is finished, Dawson good enough for Europa but not else.
Rose can be back-up or rotate - maybe Ricardo Rodriguez?
Konoplyanka depending on whether Liverpool still want him.

Let one of the central mids and Sig go. Keep the rest of them together.

End of all back the manager both in who he wants in and who he wants out.

Naughton, Kane and Fryers just simply aren't good enough for us. I'd hope Dawson would go but that will depend on what happens with our other centre backs. If we can get decent money for Lennon then I'd sell. Same with Walker.

As for ins, who knows. I really like Ben Davies at Swansea, because we haven't a hope in hell of signing Luke Shaw. Callum Chambers looks like he will be a decent player, but maybe too soon for him to leave Southampton. There's a young left back in France, can't remember his name, but I've seen him a couple of times and thought he was decent.

Asmir Begovic will probably be Lloris' replacement if he goes.

It's ACN year next season so if Adebayor goes chances are it will wreck his season - it normally does - not having a pop at him, just saying that it seems to disrupt his fitness and attitude once he is back.

Stability in the form of not making wholesale squad changes, ensuring our best players stay and we add 1 or 2 players to enhance what we have with 1 or 2 going the other way.

Our squad is woefully short of players who can pass the ball, so the more we can bring in the better in that respect. We also have no one else who can fulfill the role of Ade should he get injured and obvious weaknesses at LB and CB.

Stability is all well and good if your squad is balanced. Ours is not imo.

I think it is worth to think about it. Our team is missing characters and leaders. He definitley is one. Just can't think of much others.

I don't subscribe to this signing leaders. A good coach can identify and nurture leaders in the squad.

I prefer we keep signing players who can contribute a lot on the football pitch rather than past it superstars just because they have some apparent intangible influence.

Absolutely impossible to say at this stage.

I don't think there's a huge amount of money to spend, so it depends on who we sell. If/when we don't get top 4 then the likes of Lloris and Vertonghen could go, and I suspect both Soldado and Lamela will want to be off as well. Capoue is presumably still on the fence about staying and then you have people like Naughton, Holtby and Sigurdsson who will also likely leave.

So we could need a complete overhaul (and actually have some money to do it), or we could just be kicking the existing players up the arse.

It was Raphael Guerreiro of FC Lorient. Decent little player. A little rough around the edges still, but very, very quick. He will be at a bigger club in a season or two.

For more immediate impact at left back then I'd say Ben Davies or Ricardo Rodriguez, although I imagine the latter will cost a lot of money
