Not one particular moment for me, just the gradual realisation that we weren't making any progress and were in fact going backwards.

I went for the final defeat because it was a cup final, but I think the defining point in our season was the 3-0 loss to Man Utd.

We were in great form and Utd were playing terribly and scraping results. Poch was the manager of the moment, Kane was the national darling, and the press were suggesting we might've dodged a bullet when Van Gaal chose Utd over us. Most people on here were confident we'd get a result, knowing that if we won we'd leapfrog Utd up into 3rd or 4th.

Lo and behold, an injury crisis and the return of Carrick led to Utd's formation looking fresh and fluid, while our boys look completely off colour. We conceded 2 sloppy goals early in the game and that was it, game over. Utd pushed on and opened up a gap while our form trailed off. Our league campaign died with that result.

Always liked him and wished he would find form but Soldado missing was the final straw for an awful lot of fans. Felt really bad for him and then we screwed the game up so it REALLY mattered. yes we had worse results but watching him miss and knowing that fans would be out for him and that he probably wouldn't kick on and find form was depressing

I went for the CC final as its the one that will still matter next season. The biggest annoyance of that day is that we didn't even put up a bloody fight or give the fans something to cheer about.

Signing more deadwood to go on top of the deadwood we already have.

The Cup Final against Chelsea was bad, because losing a Cup Final to a rival is just a horrible thing. Though I didn't expect too much from it.

I actually hated that first 30mins against Man Utd recently, potentially the most abject period of play and lack of coherence, fight and effort that we witnessed this season. It was depressing, especially at a time when winning could have had major repercussions (in hindsight we mucked enough up for it to perhaps not have made a difference but who knows.)

Well the defeat against Utd was so pathetic, so abject, so gutless, that it made me question everything about the club and the direction we're going in. So probably that.

The final was gutting but I thought we put in a spirited performance with an extremely young side who were up against probably the most experienced side in the league, and one of the most experienced in Europe, and there was positives to take away from that for the future.

For me it's United away, I think (wrongly or rightly) we all started to believe we had a good chance of finishing top 4 after a good run of form and United were looking so poor at that point. To not even turn up and let Man Utd steamroll us without putting up a fight was embarrassing and seemed to kill all hope and optimism around the club for a good end of season finish. That defeat changed everything and we've never looked the same since. The fight to win games at the death we had earlier in the season seems to have completely diminished and the players themselves even looked like they couldn't be arsed ever since

True. If I had to go for a single moment in the season, it was that pathetic performance.

Probably looking at the line ups for most matches and seeing that Pochettino has been too stubborn and not changed a single thing.

Fiorentina away. What a dog-show on all levels. Miserable experience.
