Got to say Anderlecht still right up there as best team we've played this season, foreign and domestic. There's got to be some talent to be picked from them.

He looks like a smaller, thinner, Tom Huddlestone. Hopefully his passing is as good but he can turn quicker.

I'd say we need competition for Dier / Bentaleb rather than Dembele / Alli. Good prospect to add to the squad, but I don't see a starting position for him at the minute or in the near future. Doesn't mean we shouldn't sign him though, as long as we address the obvious weaknesses in the squad first.

Seen him live a number of times, one of the most exciting young players in Europe. Has the potential to be one of the best in the world, would be a big statement if we mange to get him as I would 100% expect him to go to one of the elite.

Also, he will go for a lot more then 15 million, more like 25-30 I would think.

I know we say this with every Belgian player we are interested but hopefully the quartet we currently have more more specifically Dembele could tempt him to come to us. Similar type of position but both have their different qualities. Also, if the rumours of Batshauyi are true, we could have five Belgian internationals to help persuade him to come. I reckon if we get CL football, we surely have to made one of the favourites to sign him. Out of all the current CL teams that would be interested, how many would he have a realistic chance of starting for? Mason, Bentaleb & Carroll's position is right up for grabs and if he could take over them, he's in for at least 25 games a season if fit.

Dendoncker would be the player from Anderlecht that could be back-up for Dier.

The transfer fee for Martial will have upped the ante for young talent. Also my I suggest us 'stealing' Alli for £5m will put clubs on notice all around the world when selling potential to Premier League clubs.

Never seen him play but he sounds just like the kind of player we would want and surely young players must have someone in their corner who could whisper in his ear how good Spurs are at promoting young talent ... OK I am naive as mostly they seem surrounded by people who just want the biggest payday they can get

Yes please. There are few clubs in the world who would be better for his progress than Spurs, so I think we have a decent chance if we go in for him.

From the games we played against them I think Dendoncker would be a better signing for us

I don't think we'll be paying 20m+ for a midfielder any time soon. He's a good player though.

Not arguing against your suggestion but Dedoncker is more of a DM though.
yeah and we need cover at the DM/CB position (both which Dedoncker can play), more than a cm/am.
thou he would be a major coup and could possible add that bit of quality we lack at times, I just don't see him coming as Eriksen's been so good, I don't see him getting the game time he wants.
If he doesn't come here I hope he goes to Atletico he would really propel them and allow them to give Barca a proper challenge, plus he wouldn't be in the prem.
