I'd take that trade any day of the week

I would as well. Tielemans has age on his side over all of them and a much higher ceiling. Preferably, I would go with Mason and Carroll of the three. I know Bentaleb has hit a hiccup in his development, but he is a truly gifted footballer that could play at a very high level if that potential is realized.

Would be a very good signing. A step up from Carroll/Bentaleb/Mason and capable of playing alongside Dier as a 6 or Dembele as a 4 (which he may have done for Belguim)

Was just talking to a friend in Belgium and he confirmed something I had believed as well in that Tielemans is getting quite overhyped.

He said that he hasn't developed as much as his trajectory suggested when he started out so young and hasn't really made a mark in the team which is easier to do at a younger age in Belgium.

A lot of the hype came from him coming in and producing very young, but is now being carried by video games and articles written by people who probably haven't actually seen much of his play. Which I find quite believable as a lot of people seem to be all over getting this kid in and yet I very highly doubt those people are watching Belgian football.

Not to mention the European football Anderleht have played Tielemans has been incredibly pedestrian in. In our encounter with Anderlecht can anyone remember him doing much of anything of note?

Bentaleb would bring the best price and Carroll and Mason have done a decent job when asked. There would probably be a lot more suitors for Bentaleb as well. I'd also imagine he'd want out if (and it's a very big if) Tielemans was to come in.

Jan Mulder (former Anderlecht player) just claimed Spurs have bid 20 million for Anderlecht's Youri Tielemans.

Hmmm
