We are more than three months into the Premier League season, and talk of Tottenham Hotspur's form at their temporary abode Wembley has subsided.

A player with Zaha's skillset, moulded by Poch for a year.... its a frightening prospect. If he's clever about his development he'd demand a move to spurs.

I think Zaha would be a great fit (which is why he was top of the target list in the summer). He was allegedly offered money in line with our pay structure and by all accounts threw a strop. Palace have him the same money as our highest earners who have earned that right. Zaha would have to back down a bit and I don't think that's going to happen (sadly).

I don't see a PL player who we would be likely to get and who can improve us. Possibilities are either hyped, or at a club from whom we probably couldn't buy. I think we need to be smarter than simply picking up a flavour of the month PL player.

He'd be a fool not to come to us. Poch could make his an amazing player and he'd be playing at the highest level. Would be available for CL squad as well.

That’s quite interesting. Where did that come from?

Spent a long time going round in circles and getting nowhere.
(Not literally.)
Career scoring record of 1/9.Same as Andros T Similar age too.(25/26)
Bit head down. Flatters to deceive? and they would want a lot of money for him some of which Man.U. would get.
Pass unless Poch is really really keen

I think we need someone exactly like Zaha...but maybe not Zaha.

On his day he's a very dangerous player and would give us that directness that nobody else really offers at the moment in our squad.

However, whilst people keep saying 'this is the season we'll see him flourish', he still doesn't seem to be having the influence on games that you'd want to see for us to be interested.

Plus, as others have said, the fee is likely to be ridiculous.

So I'm glad we're looking at players like him, I suspect there is more value to be found elsewhere.

But we need to spend proper money on the position with someone who is the finished article, not the likes of N'Jie and N'Koudou.

Ryan Sessegnon Is the player I would go for. He is class, watch him for Fulham the other day and he was fantastic. They play him as a left back but Poch would either play left wing back or left wing. This guy could be another Bale, or even better. We need to bid for him in January because one of the other big clubs will snap him up soon.

There'll be a proper bun fight over Sessegnon. He might have the sense to see how other players have fared at the big money clubs and how well Poch has done with our youngsters, but, tbh, I think he'll be pushed towards a big money pay day and we'll quite possibly miss out.

He is a proven PL player, has been quite outstanding in a very poor Palace side, and of our last two winger signings one has gone and one can't get a start.

If Woy wants to strengthen Palace in January then he will have to sell before he can buy. Zaha had us beaten all ends up at Wembley and should have scored.

Poch would make him so much better, and he is still young, fit, strong and has blinding pace.

Who would you suggest that we could get, that is proven at PL level, quicker and stronger?

I'll wait.

Zaha is an interesting one. His direct running style and pace are no doubt dangerous to an opposition defense but he doesn't seem to have that subtlety and intelligence to influence games. His game versus us summed it up - stretched our defence with his direct running, but screwed up final deliveries and shockingly missed an open goal.

Given a choice between Riyadh Mahrez and Zaha I would probably take Mahrez - similar age. Much greater ability to influence games in the final third against very good defences, not heavily reliant on physical ability, trickery, work rate. The list goes on. His contract winding down - a neat 25 million should get him.

Zaha is the one player (who could be possibly available) whom I have been requesting since the season began.
There are others - Rashford, Martial, Sané, Salah, Mane - whom I'd love at Spurs - we DO NEED that type of player - and I think Zaha would be a fantastic addition - better than N'Kou and ready to rock off the bench for those vital last 15minutes. MoPo would develop him very quickly.

Good points well made.
Zaha is only just 25 - MoPo could develop that final phase and he'd be surrounded by quality players.
Mahrez would also be a great buy.
Both would add to the quality of the existing squad for this season.

He's an amazing talent and only 17!!
Crazy.
He is a 100% MoPo blueprint/dream player.
Fulham just got him to sign a big contract too - so he will be very expensive and he may try and get another season with them before the big move ...which will be enormous - and when he makes it he'll look great at the New Lane! ;-)

Maybe one of those 'sign and lend back for a season' deals?
