still hope he stays with Palace till the end of the season and helps them get promoted

would be complete madness for them to sell him in Jan and also for him to join a team where he will not be a regular starter

unless we sign him and loan him back till end of the season

It is too late to show interest in him now, I think. If we had an interest in this player, we should have done a deal at least a couple of years ago. That is what we have scouts for.

I think you're being a bit unfair on our scouts SK

Any given human male differs in physical and mental development, not to mention other factors, from 12 yrs to 22 yrs

There really is no second-guessing the situation until it happens

I don't know remember tweeting no such thing so I don't know where the tweet came from

Wilfried Zaha@wilfriedzaha
THIS IS THE ONLY OFFICIAL WILFRIED ZAHA ACCOUNT. BEWARE ANYONE CIRCULATING UNTRUE TWEETS IN MY NAME.

I think that's called backtracking. Good photos of the tweet, that he clearly saw and swiftly deleted from his account. So unless someone with his password is playing tricks...
...Man Utd I think have him now, but to go there in the summer.

Dont come in the transfer section often these days but I have a little snippet of info. I am related, indirectly, to Jonathan Williams, the Crystal Palace player and occasionally I hear bits from his side of the family. He reckons Zaha has his heart set on Man Utd and has told several players a deal is done, with Zaha staying til the end of the season.

Take it with a pinch of salt but I think he's probably spot on.

From BBC
Chief executive David Gill says Crystal Palace starlet Wilfried Zaha is a player Manchester United are looking at, but suggested no move would be made until the summer.
Zaha, 20, has been one of Palace's standout players this season and has subsequently attracted interested from the Premier League.
Gill says: "He's one of the players we're looking at. There's a long way to go...but that would be one for the summer."

Wenger last week: "We're in for Zaha"

Wenger today now it's almost certain Zaha's going to Man Utd: "We were never in for Zaha"

15m is a lot for him

In my most humble opinion, 10mil is a lot for him. So... 15mil? Batshit crazy.

No doubting he's a talent, but it almost takes the 'fun' out of buying a young talent when you just pay a shitload to secure his rights. I don't know, maybe I'm just enamored with the thought of buying a young kid at, say, 5-9m or so, and then seeing him flip into a player worth triple the original cost.

guess they were worried on missing out on another Bale/Walcott so paid Dizzying money to get him!

roll of the dice for sure, could quite easily turn out to be Wayne Routledge Lite.

Fair enough with Bale but I don't think Walcott is all that fantastic.
