It is always going to be a gamble punting the ball downfield, but some play the ball short a lot more than Robbo (dont get me wrong, I still want him to play for us). Gambling we will win the long ball means we dont ensure we keep possession. end of.

end of? charming

I do not understand the forums general anti-zokora stance.:bang:

I thought he was one of our better performers against West Ham and in general I think that he has played well over the season.

He breaks up play, passes it simple (accepted he can hang onto the ball too long), he is not extravagant in his passing, has pace is good and he works hard for the team. He also takes the ball with him reducing the pressure on the defence.

Additionally he is versatile. Slots into centre back comfortably which is a strength for the squad.

Ramos does not seem to do too many things wrong and he seems to like Zoko, just like Mr Jol. I for one believe that Zoko is quality - I guess we shall see at the end of the season.

dunno about that, and your post was far too sensibly worded for any of those that could do with reading it to actually make it through in one sitting, so how about i just make some tenuous, picture related joke instead?

dunno about the anti-Zokora stance, but this is my anti-Dutch stance!

I love it when good triumphs over evil.

Mr Miyagi say Banzai Juande San (with Tainio San instead of Zokora San I hope)

If he got picked to start the CC final (in which he made some vital interceptions) i am pretty sure he will start Wednesday night. He frustrates me sometimes the way he could pass the ball but instead he runs with it towards the player he wants to pass it too.

ran our midfield brilliantly with Thudd against West Ham. Zokora is getting better and better game by game, it is called the Ramos effect.

Heaven forbid we should let a player who can make 60 passes in a game with a 95% completion rate loose against PSV eh ?

He has improved along with everybody else, but i'm convinced we need better.

He's not a bad player and at the very least a good squad player since he can play in defence and midfield. Some of you guys are way too harsh.
