Agree. I would take him over Dembele and Paulinho any day. We could seriously use some of his directness in the middle of the park. I don't know that there will be a clear-out, though.

In fairness, I do rate Paulinho, I just think he has been under-achieving and I could see him leaving. I do, though, think Witsel is a better player.

Interestingly Phillipe Auclair was saying on Football Weekly that it looks like Spaletti is actually staying at Zenit but moving into a position at board level. It's a bit of an odd move for someone who is still relatively young in managerial terms and has a good reputation, hope he's not having to stop for some reason.
