I know this has been mentioned in the U21 thread, but if ever anyone deserved their own thread....

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-victory-Chelsea-despite-told-sister-die.html

"Tottenham Under 21 star Zenon Stylianides took part in his side's 3-1 victory against Chelsea on Friday night, despite learning his sister could die during the game.

Stylianides, who started in a central midfield role for Ugo Ehiogu's side, was informed of the news during a phone conversation with his mother before arriving at Aldershot's Recreation Ground.

Sadly, the 17-year-old's sister, Debi, passed away just 10 minutes into the Under 21 clash following a two-year battle with blood cancer."

RIP Debi.

Really sad. Haven't read the article but I guess she was too far away for him to reach her in time...?
