Was he facing the other way and just taking his cue from the cheers before celebrating? Anyone got a pic? It was class!

Was V funny! I think he was trying to work out which set of supporters were cheering before he knew what to do!!

no, Zokora just had his eyes closed praying it was going to go in.

when he heard the cheer he opened them straight away and ran off to join the celebrations!

was amusing though

He did the same earlier in the season (can't remember who against). He was looking away. Same as me really. I don't like the angle they showed of the penalty. It seems to make it more unlikeley that it'll go in. I prefer the other (normal) angle.

He does that quite often. Looks in the opposite direction with his eyes shut then waits for the cheers if it goes in or the "whey" if it goes wide or saved.

I was slating Gallas yesterday for not being on the edge of the box ready to pounce on any loose ball from a missed pen, it just seems like common sense to me. He should be where he's meant to be ready to react to any outcome, if Cech had saved and Chelsea had broken away and scored while he wasn't paying attention we would all be giving him a load of grief now. But just for today I think I'll let him off.

Yeah...because they'd have really managed to get the ball right up the other end of the pitch in some kind of meaningful attack before Zokora realised the penalty had been missed/saved. :-|

I only worry if Zoko had needed to take a penalty!! Would have done it with his eyes closed? Eek
