Not exactly rocket science!

So glad Zoko stayed on the bench. we played proper flowing football today and Huddlestone proved all the doubters wrong...

Modric was quality and so happy for all the lads that a decent manager is in who is willing to make bold decisions and give them some confidence.

i like tom but you would not really want him in the middle against high quality mobile midfield opponents

You were obviously watching a different match. For every good pass he makes he spoils things by giving the ball away in dangerous positions. I'd prefer that neither Zokora or Huddlestone appeared in central midfield. I'm sure that we'll see new players in midfield in January. What price Joey Barton, who Harry tried to buy in the summer?

Huddlestone needs games, it's the only way to iron the errors out.

I really hope don't try to buy that asshole. Even we need hard tackling DM, JB definitely isn't that player who we really want.

ZOKORA OUT!

I still remember last season's home league match against Arsenal. The only time that Huddlestone got near Fabregas was to shake hands after the match. Or this season's match with Villa.

I'm sorry - for all his undoubted talent Huddlestone is never going to cut it in central midfield in the premiership.

But I concur with your sentiments on Zokora.

:eek:mg:

To quote Mike Bassett England Manager...'What system are we gonna play? 3 across the middle and one in bloody Pentonville?'

Seriously there are better options.

But didn't he try to sign him because we wanted Diarra? Barton is a gob shite and should not get anywhere near our club.

I can't help compare Tom to my all time favourite Spurs player Mr. Hoddle. He couldn't tackle to save his life but what a pass and what a shot.

In fact watching Tom and Modders today could they be the new Hoddle and Hazard? Just need an enforcer ala Graham Roberts to protect them.

Well if you think about it more, Hudd is more like Carrick not a defensive midfielder. So even he didn't tackle or anything he's still better on our central midfield than Zokopops. The truth is we still need that Defensive midfielder but before we get one, I would play Hudd over Zoko in every game.

Huddlestone was excellent today, but could he play that role against arsenal? I'm not sure. I'd have to consider Zokora or O'Hara as a DM against them.

It's a masterstroke until next time he is off form, then people will say he needs to lose weight again.

was mowgli even on the bench today?

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I'm not sure the pc brigade would like that but that has really tickled me.

If I'm being pedantic though, wrong continent. The boy in the red speedos was from India.
