He's an enigma isn't he ? How can a player with such an unbelievable engine, great pace, strength, close control and tackling be such an utterly toilet passer (and shooter) ?

Well I'm glad we have him on a long contract. If I were Ramos I'd have him spending hours aiming balls between cones, at moving targets and at cut-out mannequins in the pen area

Cut out the 6-7 missed passes and over-hit crosses per game and we'd have one hell of a DM

PS. He seems to love playing Chelski

It is great to see him signing a new deal with us. He is a very important member of our team, and he gives the team a good team spirit in the dressing room aswell....

I am so happy that he has signed a new deal!

But that's the problem with the man. He thinks he's Michael Essien! He refuses the short pass and is always looking for the 'long' killer ball which he ALWAYS fcuks up. The reason Lampard had so many scoring chances in the first 15 mnutes was the big hole that Zokora left on his galloping runs forward, where he enivitably lost the ball and then sauntered back into the defence. The man is a liability!! Keano leaving - disappointing, Berbatov leaving - upsetting, Zokora extention to contact - madness.
I know a lot of people are feeling hot for Zokora today, and I am one of them. I have to disagree with you here. Zokora doesn't always try the killer ball. In fact, his passing stats are pretty good because he usually plays it short. The trouble is, we notice his attempts at the long pass because they are often (usually) pretty bad.

What's the madness in extending contract with the only player who could drive forward 40 yards 85mins into a game?

He only needs to hit the ball properly.

100% agree.. Kept thinking, why had Lampard got so much room to shoot... We are lucky we have Gomes

Also the goal was mostly his fault (OK DB could have made contact and knocked the ball out) zoko stood still while the player ran in and tapped it in
