I think Zokora's had long enough to adapt. Most of us wanted a centre mid in January and it's still top priority in the summer for me. Someone like Poulsen, Essien, Gattuso that kind of dominating midfielder to give JJ a bit more freedom. Annoyingly Diarra seem to be doing well for Pompey, although I'm sceptical as to whether we were actually in for him in the first place.

Bock on topic, both Hudd and Zokora have their downfalls, I think it depends who we're playing. I'd rather see Kaboul there though personally, I see great potential in that lad. He reminds me of Rio Ferdinand.

gd point van pommel, he has had a while now.

I think its seeing wether Zokora will up his game with Ramos.

Hudd, JJ and Malbranque have. Will he follow suit?

For the final (if King/Daws are both out) i'd like to see

YP Lee - - - Woodgate - - - Chimbonda - - - Hutton

tho obviously in dreamworld

Gilberto/YP Lee - - - Woodgate - - - King - - - Chimbonda/Hutton

Personally I think we have 3 CB's who can contain Drogba if they're on their game - King, Woodgate and Kaboul. That's not to say they will if they play, but I believe that those 3 have it in them to do it. I don't think Zokora, Hudd, Dawson etc would be up to it.

Back on subject, I think I prefer Hudd, simply because it allows him time on the ball, which can only be a good thing.

Dependent on Centre Pack Partner i.e.

Woodgate- lacks pace so Zokora partners well unlike Hudd, in which we've all seen milk turn faster

King- Quick so can deal with a slower partner- The Hudd

Overall a difficult call, I just dont like Hudds lack of mobility in that position
