just wondering what peoplr think of the situation with didi as he's not getting any game time cause of palacios. i reckon it wouldnt effect are squad if he were to leave as we already have cover in the CM position in Hudd and O hara. the only thing he gives is versatility which we now have with chimbonda so in my mind get around 5-10 mil for him would be a good piece of business. however i would be sad to see him go without scoring at least one goal thoughts?

Loves the club, not as crap as many believe, but not all that good either and highly unlikely to get any better. I suspect that we'd be happy enough to keep him but won't stand in his way if we get a decent offer.

If we can keep him happy I would like him to stay unless we find better.
Wilson could get injured or suspended(he will get suspended) and there are other positions Didi can play.
I would have liked to see Didi & Wilson with Zoks do the Cattermole role at Wigan.
Come to think about it I wouldn't mind Cattermole as a replacement for Didi- it would mean a different type of midfield to the one we have at present though.

He's a good player, ample backup for the sterling Palacios. Whether he will stick around to play 2nd fiddle remains to be seen, but we won't get much better to come and sit on the bench.

He will surely go as in his best season for us since arriving, he has been pushed down the pecking order by both Palacios and Huddlestone...

Since it became fashionable on here to rate Zokora I've really goen off him. Especially as some on here even have the bare-faced cheek and temerity to spell his name correctly. Arseholes.

So, this reporter says Sell, Sell, Sell.

And I bet plenty on here will be surprised when he commands a 10-14m fee. He'll certainly turn a profit (even on the 8m possibly incorrectly reported), I guarantee.

Yeah, extraordinary, isn't it? And I can only think of one of the current batch we'd struggle with. Well, two if you count Gilberto.

On Sky Sports he has been linked with Wigan, to replace Palacios!

I'd love for him to score at least 1 goal before he leaves!

me too.

I think he will fit in wherever he goes because he always gives 110% wherever he plays.

He is in his prime and I think he wants games. With Wilson performing there isnt a position for him in the starting eleven. I certainly think he is an able squad member, but I doubt he would be too happy with that role, which is a credit to him.

Ultimately he may have to leave so that Bostock and Parratt et al can progress up the ranks.

Parret, Huddlestone and Bostock are all used as attacking midfielders though.

Zokora isn't behind Huddlestone in the pecking order. If Palacios wasn't there Zokora would play. Huddlestone is directly behind Jenas.

bentley for sure and i don't think we would get 16mil + for darren bent either?

Then we wouldn't sell him. Simple as that. He's worth it in goals, so either a side pays up or he stays.

That's a bit off topic, though. Moving on from Kendall's post:

Wouldn't Jamie O'Hara be a possible reserve for Palacios. I think if Zokora stayed, Jamie O would move along, but he might be convinced to stay if Zoko left.

Nice guy, great attitude, real worker, but limited in ability. Good as a back up, but with the fee we'd get for him (I'm assuming with several years on his contract remaining and 3 years of premiership experience under his belt, not to mention a first choice for a good international side, around £9m) we can reinvest in area's of the team that are more needy, seeing as Huddlestone seems to have become the direct understudy to Wilson anyway. If Wigan want him though, we should give them as hard a time as they gave us with Palacios.

Thats because we were playing at home, against two mediocre team, and needing the wins badly. If they had been games against liverpool or the likes, i doubt very much hudd will be chosen.
