I just don't get why the Yid on there bothers any more...

Get him on to a Spurs forum, he's wasted over there.

If Lennon embarasses them tomorrow I can really see them sniffing around him in Jan.

I do think thought that Lennon loves Spurs. He signed a new contract for us when he Liverpool were heavily in for him.

He posts on COYS as well. He's got 3,362 posts on RedCafe - must have unbelievable patience.

"Evra just needs to stop being a spastic against him."

What an insightful comment from a well educated United fan. Brilliant.

One says Walnutt is better technically, maybe in finishing, as he is a striker not a winger. Other than that all Walnutt does is try and knock it past a defender and his pace helps him out. The hat trick in Croatia seems to be embedded into pundits and fans minds and they don't seem to mention he has been distinctly average and also injured since then. Lennon's final ball and crossing has improved and his actual strike of the ball has improved. His tracking back is also another string to his bow. Other fans can think what they want but i know what I see most weeks watching Lennon for Spurs and that's a player beginning to fulfil his potential

This is the thing and to me the only reason people suggest Walcott is better than LEnnon so frequently.

Walcott is no doubt an excellent talent and prospect, a classy player.

Right now though Lennon is further down his development and the better player.

Walcott's hattrick against Croatia is all people remember (and the run against liverpool in the CL which lead to a winning goal which turned out not to be the winner)

Rocket Ronny scored a fantastic second half hatrick against Southampton, if you judged him purely by that game he would have been one of the worlds greats

I like the 'Lennon is shit' post. Informative, to the point and not entirely moronic.

I was listening to yesterday's Guardian Podcast and one of the journalists on there who just so happened to be a gooner was saying Walcott had to start over Lennon at the WC because of his 'reputation' and that would scare full backs as well as having blistering pace. Another journalist on there said well isn't that what Lennon gives as well?? Also said if you want someone with a reputation play Beckham there! I am unfortunate enough to have some gooner ST holder mates and they are not massive fans of Walcott and want him to be moved up front, although the new formation they are playing may actually benefit him. Wilshere seems to be the better prospect there.

Walcott is a striker, he's just being played on the wing right now to develop him. Tbh the scum are pretty overloaded with attacking talent (though they're rarely all fit) so I'm not sure how he's going to get regular games there.

Lenny's stats have just been on SSN for this season. His crossing in the last 4 games, at 1 out of every 3, has been better than SWP, Milner and Ashley Young. 2 goals, 2 assists and 7 key passes with a pass completion rate of 85%.

Walcot IS better technically (if we're to assume everyone is using the term in the same way). But thats not the whole picture. Lennon is blockbuster at the minute. Bums on seats and delivivers the goods. Quentin Tarrantino... Walcot might very well be Orson Wells in comparison but who the fuck would chose to watch Citizen Kane over Pulp fiction? some gooners might but they would do it despite themselves and pretend till thier dying day it was fun... i daresay when asked what they thought of pulp fiction they would reply "i didn't not see it"

Lennon/becks/milner/joe cole should and will be Capellos wide options for the WC. Walcott will go becasue he could cover CF and wing.

I seriously don't think Man U could afford him.

Lennon is at least half the player Ronaldo is and he is also English.

Would they and could they pay 40 million?! That must be his value bearing in mind his age, his nationality and that players like Lescott and Johnson are worth 24 and 17 million!
