Eek On loan I hope!

No he signed a four year deal with them. Comments from Standard fans seem to focus on being home-sick.

But talkshow and myself know why he left: W-A-F-F-L-E-S.

Because the Belgians love waffles, Andy. That's all I'm trying to say.

And maybe if London got off it's ass and learned how to make a proper one, we wouldn't have lost him.

Is there any recent ITK on Leandro though, or are we just basing this on the fact that Jo has gone to Inter?

No, but with Jo on his way there, Inter chairman said the following 'Inter will have to sell and over the next week there may be a major deal.' reports reckon will be Leandro to us, saying his new deal was just a ploy to drive price up. Very plausible I guess, could see this happening for sure.

Hmm, not sure Levy is going to all of a sudden pay more for the guy.

I thought there was meant to have been a problem with how much we were willing to pay and their valuation in the first place, as well as the supposed third party ownership?

So Ben says nothing happening after nailing Couillaby (and being the only one) and he says no incomings until the last two weeks. This is disappointing, but I see why Levy would take this tack. He's right, teams get desperate and will reduce demands as the deadline looms. Interesting he doesn't seem to notice that with our extra players.

Mystery says something happening by Friday, and while he feels it might be a transfer, I would think that he and Ben could have compatible info and that we are on the verge of a number of sells. I know we want the purchases, but this just seems more likely to me. And it does seem more Levy-esque to sell while fees are high and buy when they come down. He's no idiot. Although he does leave us to fret, doesn't he?
DP, I think you've got the wrong end of the stick. Some poster without a previous ITK track record (Robbie?) stated that nothing will happen till the final two weeks of the window in response to BEN saying that we're pushing hard right now. BEN responded to this by saying again that as far as he knows we are pushing hard right now.

He should venture up to St Albans, they have an amazing waffle hut there. Sweet waffles, savoury waffles, breakfast waffles, they got the lot!

I remember that FootballAgent9 saying that Leandro to Spurs was still a 'done' deal as far as he was concerned, despite everybody else saying the contrary.

Perhaps we had agreed a deal in principle, just waiting for Inter to try and get a replacement, which is what they look like they have done.

I thought that was another poster replying to Ben's info...although I know Ben said something similar a week or two ago..

Oh I see. Sorry. I am working on about 2 hours sleep so pardon my misunderstanding of that.

I struggled too don't worry, BEN reverted to BENGLISH in his conversation with Robbie so that can't have helped.

Donna Cullen has just said that having invested 100s of millions on players over the last few years we have done our major investments. Although the CHAIRMAN(NOTE NOT THE MANAGER)is always looking at opportunities every transfer window.
Party line or Bullshit????

Can we not make this a discussion about the merits (or otherwise) of the board. There are plenty of other places to do that on SC.
