Big Brad 7- made some good saves but seems to be cemented to his line when crosses come in
BAE 7 scored, went from the sublime to the ridiculous due to lapses in concentration
Vertonghen 7 a couple of iffy moments but overall decent debut
Gallas 6 OK
Walker 6 not at his best had little impact on game
sandro 6 not fully fit- made some good interceptions and tackles
livermore 5 waste of a midfield spot
vdv-6 classy passing but a bit off the pace
lennon 6 didn't do much. if avb system to work he needs to be getting in the box more
Bale 7 good first half when he played as a winger, faded as he decided he was a number 10 floating all over the pitch
Defoe 3- fuck off

GK 7 - Saved us a few times but his age has caught up with him and will cost us if he isn't replaced.

BAE 6 - Must concentrate better.

Vertonghen 7 - Solid debut.

Gallas 6 - Was fine until the bully came on.

Walker 5

Ssandro 6 - Did OK.

Livermore 6 - ^

Lennon 6 - Decent first half, needs to show better attacking instinct and attack the box more often, especially when Bale has the ball on the opposite side.

VDV 6 - Regaining match fitness but he wasn't involved enough, however he is the only intelligent player in the midfield and it sucks that those playing ahead of him are clueless.

Bale 6 - Decent first half, disappeared in the second half. Also needs to stop roaming.

Defoe 4 - He needs to be benched or sold. One of the most frustrating, limited and selfish players I've ever seen.

Adebayor 5 - Not match fit.

It would have been better to get him out and keep the Hudd. At least Huddlestone can pass and create. What does Livermore bring to the party?

Seriously, did these people even watch the game? What the fuck did Livermore do wrong? I would have said Sandro was no better than him, today, and which one of them was it replacing Modric that we should blame him for not being good enough to replace Modric but not Sandro?

We didn't lose which could easily of happened and WBA ain't mugs they battered Liverpool by 3, our first home game of the season and the pressure is on I hope people will give AVB a chance his ideas are good. Enough of the Livermore bashing please lets not make him the scapgoat he was equal if not better than Sandro today.

Bring on the next game!

Friedel 5 - I think a proper Premier League keeper should have done better in the situations leading up to Albions goal.

BAE 8 - Scored what I thought would be the winner, saved a goal off the line for us, and had one or two "oh shit" moments. All in all though a very good game. Our MOM in my opinion

Vertonghen 6 - Not a very good debut. Great block on Lukakus shot, though he really shouldn't have been thrown around by an 18 year old like that in the first place. Will probably improve though.

Gallas 6 - Good at organizing a defence, but had some scary moments with Lukaku.

Walker 7 - I think Walker was very good tonight. At one point had an excellent technique pass forward to Lennon. Not the best going forward, though not from lack of trying. Did well defensively though.

Sandro 7 - Couple of excellent interceptions, one or two misplaced passes but overall very good. Will be extremely important this season.

Livermore 6 - He did OK, but using Livermore paired with Sandro makes the ball move extremely slowly going forward at times. No obvious mistakes, but he's definitely not what we need.

Lennon 5 - Not a threat today. Some good involvement, but mostly quiet.

Bale 6 - Looked threatening in the first half, probably because of some excellent passes from Van der Vaart. Went completely missing in the second half.

VDV 7 - The only creative force for us going forward. Some excellent passes today, though his deadballs weren't exactly great. Makes no sense keeping Defoe on and subbing VDV if the latter isn't injured

Defoe 4 - He huffed and puffed, but in the end the house still stood. Great as an impact sub, not so great when starting.

Adebayor, Sigurdsson and Jenas didn't really set the world on fire either. If I didn't see Jenas subbed on I wouldn't have known he was there.

I'm probably alone (except for SP) but I thought Livermore played well today. Him and Sandro were bossing midfield with Rafa pulling the strings.

Defoe really, really needs to go. I was expecting him to go off for Ade and then when we had lost all shape him to go off for Siggy.

From the bits I saw sporadically, he looked totally fine to me...assured enough sort of performance.
