Losing Modric was a blow but one that was always going to happen. Gylfi was a direct VdV replacement who can play in AVB's choice of system. Dempsey is another no brainer - a real workhorse who scores goals and can play either upfront or in midfield and will combine well with the talented Dembele. Verts at the back was a real coup when half the clubs in Europe were interested in him, and we got Ade for the change down the back of Levy's sofa and a couple of books of Green Shield stamps.

In addition we've shifted most of the dead wood with the exception of Jenas and Bentley who must be infected with honey fungus. My only real disappointment is we've still got Defoe but we can shift him out in january when Leandro may be available.

Not that bothered about Moutinho who is a good player but no better than someone like Hector Herrera who is younger and would cost half the price. Kaboul's injury is a blow but we have Caulker as back up. If we do go for a CB i'd like to see us take a chance on Diego Reyes. I'm also delighted we didn't pay silly money for Willian or the massively overated Hulk.

Best of all is reading the bleatings from the know-nothing simpletons who are calling for Levy's head. If they had a winning lottery ticket they'd probably use it to wipe their arses. I'm no Levy lickspittle and i'd willingly criticise him if he'd had a bad window but IMHO he's played a blinder this time.

Moron... We have sold our two world class players and replaced them with Fulham players. The window was an epic failure... We didn't get either of AVBs targets... We still don't have proper striker cover and no playmaker. We are in profit from sales... How does that show ambition. There should have been £20m plus to spend net before any sales

It's the apocalypse....

Really guys, we've done very well this window. We got a sorely needed backup for Adebayor, we've signed a young world class goalkeeper, and in general our team has better depth in my opinion.

Yes, our midfield is much weaker, but it is still pretty good and if we can last 'till January, we should be good.

Seriously peeved. Lloris Sig and vertongen are great signings but dembele and Dempsey are no replacements for Luka or van Der vaart. Really wanted moutinho and the greedy bit of me wanted llorente to. Gutted. Will be even more fed up if thudd goes to.
